Orders & payment

Orders are booked in the ledger with a reserved crane number and paid for at collection or dispatch. Trade accounts settle on the last Friday of the month, which has not moved since 1911.

Returns

Stock lengths return within fourteen days, uncut and unspliced, for full credit. Made-to-measure rope is yours the moment it comes off the walk; that is the point of laying it for you.

Tours

Tour places move free of charge up to 24 hours ahead. The walk floor asks closed-toe shoes of everyone, including the foreman’s family.

Privacy

This is a demonstration site and stores nothing about you. The theme toggle saves one preference in your own browser’s storage under the key gv-theme; no cookies, no analytics, no lists.
